Its sad when I realized that Chase didn't "need" his mom there...he was just excited to see his friends again.
However, I was glad I went anyway, because it was funny to see one of the biggest boys in his class walk up to him and say "Hey Chase, lets see if I can still beat you, cause I'm still really fast?!" Then, with a ready...set...go...they were off, and Chase started off slow but turned on the speed and I'm proud to say kicked his trash! That's my boy!
